Welcome to apartments in Komiža, island Vis, private accommodation
Dear guests, welcome to the heart of Dalmatia. Komiža is peaceful fishermen village on the south-west side of island Vis. Island Vis is the farest Croatian inhabited island. We would like to offer you our apartments for your best enjoying holidays. Apartments are situated in a traditional renovated house on the beach called 'Lucica' wright next to the sea. We have two apartments, both well equiped, also having a terrace and a sea view.
About Komiža
Komiža, is a small fisherman and touristic village. Place of untouched nature beauties, best fish and wine, warm people and sunny days. There are many beautiful beaches nearby the village and around the island Vis ideal for swiming. Also, there is the Blue cave on the island Biševo, just few miles across the Komiža bay. Some of those beaches can be reached on foot and some require driving by boat (there is a regular daily line to Biševo, also there are agency organized trips and private taxy boats). Komiža has a long fising tradition witch remains can be seen in the fishermen museum "Komuna" in the center of the village. Komiža was under occupation of Jugoslavenian army for 50 years which lead to isolation of the island but also preserved the native ambient and spirit of it.
